Installation Steps:
Search Google Application from AppGallery follow the prompt to install MicroG Service and MicroG Companion.
- Install Speech Recognition & Synthesis from AppGallery, it will jump to GBox->Google Play Store to finish the installation.
Install the Android Auto application from Petal Search.
From Petal Search APP, search Android Auto, then Click Apps, and you will find Android Auto, Pls download and install it.
NOW RESTART your mobile phone and ensure that Android Auto has been granted the necessary permissions
(Remark: reboot is a must, otherwise necessary provisioning isn’t finished to use Android Auto normally)
After reboot, Go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps > Android Auto and check whether the permission is automatically granted.
Here is the correct demonstration:
Enable the Android Auto App configuration item“unknown resource” to enhance the compatibility (Very Very important)
1) Settings->Apps & services->Apps->Android Auto. Click the setting icon in the upper right corner to go to the settings page.
2) Click Version at the bottom of the page for about 5 times until the developer mode prompt box is displayed. Click OK.
3) Click in the upper right corner and choose Developer Settings. Make sure to enable Unknown sources. (THIS IS MANDATORY)
Granting the Google Maps 、MicroG、GBox Locating Permission,and login Google account.
Make sure to grant the “all the time” option to location permission setting
1)Settings->Apps & services->Apps-> GBox: Open GBox, touch Location, and apply for and grant the location permission in the displayed dialog box.
2)Settings->Apps & services->Apps-> Maps: Open Google Maps, touch Location, and apply for and grant the location permission in the displayed dialog box.
3) Go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps, search for MicroG, select the MicroG service, and set Location info to Allowed all the time
4)login to Google account
Remark: for location permission, only “all the time” option can function normally.
