Google Login Error on Huawei Devices

🟢 Summary for the customers

• This is a Google server policy issue, not Huawei.

• The phone is working normally.

• Just follow the 3 steps and it will work.

If the users cannot log in to their Google account using microG or GBox.
They see this message:

“A communication error with Google servers”

🔍 Why does this happen?

This is not a phone problem and not an app bug.

How to Fix (3 Easy Steps)

Step 1

On the error page, tap OK Then try to log in again

Step 2 (if still not working)

1. Go to Settings

2. Tap Apps & services → Apps

3. Find microG Services → tap it

4. Tap Force Stop

5. Go back and find GBox

6. Tap Force Stop

Step 3

Open GBox again
Try to log in to Google one more time

⚠ Important Warning

Do NOT turn ON this option:

Settings → Apps & services → Apps → microG Services → microG settings → Google Account → “Authenticate with device registration”

🚫 Keep this OFF
If you turn it ON, Google login will fail again.
