Google Meet Camera Issue on Huawei Devices

When starting a Google Meet video call on Huawei devices, the camera may automatically turn off, as shown below.

Solution:

1. Open AppGallery, search for Google Meet (original), and install it.

2. Do not use the Google Meet version from the Play Store, as it has known camera issues.

3. If you still choose to use the Play Store version, keep your phone’s Camera app open in the background during the meeting to ensure it works properly.
