How to activate a virtual NOL card

Method 1: Adding a new virtual nol card

1. Open Wallet and touch the + button next to transportation cards.
2. Select the transportation card
3. Touch Add a new digital card.
4. Select a top-up amount and confirm the fee.
5. Select a bank card to make the payment (a bank card needs to be linked first). After the payment is successful, wait about 1 minute for the amount to be topped up.

   Method 2: Digitalizing an existing physical card

   1. Open Wallet and touch the + button next to transportation cards.
   2. Select the transportation card you want to add.
   3. Touch Digitalize an existing physical card and follow the onscreen instructions to sync the data from the physical card.
   4. Touch Continue and wait a few minutes for the card to be digitalized.

      The following requirements must be met regardless of whether the virtual Nol card is enabled via the Wallet or Nol Pay apps.

      • The Wallet app is version 9.0.11.324 or later.
      • The phone model supports virtual nol cards.
      • You have logged in to the Wallet app with a locally registered HUAWEI ID. (You can switch to your current location if the registration region of your HUAWEI ID is not your current location.)
      • The location in the settings of the AppGallery app is set to UAE.

      • To update your Wallet, open AppGallery, search for HUAWEI Wallet, and check whether Open is displayed next to it. If a new version is available, touch Update.

        Note: If the HUAWEI Wallet app has been downloaded from a third-party app store, it may have functional issues. It is recommended that you download HUAWEI Wallet from Huawei AppGallery.
