How to set up company email and school account on Huawei (microG Work profile)

Problem

On a Huawei (HMS) phone, company or school email accounts cannot be added or signed in - Company Email / Microsoft 365, Teams, Company Portal, Google Authenticator and Google Classroom fail at sign-in.

Cause

microG Work profile support is disabled on the device. Without it, apps cannot create or sign in to a work or school profile.

Solution

1. Open Settings - Apps & services.
2. Select microG Services.
3. Tap microG Services Settings.
4. Open Work profile.
5. Turn ON Allow work Account setup.
6. Open the app and sign in with the work or school account.

Verified on

Company Portal - Company Email - Teams - Company Account - Google Authenticator - ADNOC account - Google Classroom - School Account.
